Coming to Queen’s Club for the June tennis? Come via Barons Court and stop in for a proper coffee first.
Carbon Kopi Barons Court is our original neighbourhood coffee shop on Margravine Road, just around the corner from Barons Court station and a straightforward walk to Queen’s Club. We’re open every day from 7:30am to 5:00pm, so we’re useful before the first match, after the last one, or halfway through a long setup day when someone needs to do the coffee run.
We’re not part of Queen’s Club or the tournament. We’re just close by, independent, and very used to looking after people who need good coffee quickly.
Coffee before Queen’s Club tennis
During the HSBC Championships, Barons Court gets noticeably busier. Supporters come through with tickets and tote bags, event teams are up early, and the area suddenly has a lot more people looking for caffeine than usual.
That’s where we fit in. We serve Plot Roasting coffee, keep takeaway moving, and still make the drinks properly. Flat whites, lattes, long blacks, filter coffee when it’s on, iced coffee when June behaves itself. Nothing overcomplicated, just good coffee made by people who care.
If you’ve been searching for coffee near Queen’s Club, coffee near Barons Court station, or a café near Hammersmith before the tennis, we’re an easy stop on the way.
What to grab on the way to the courts
If you’re heading straight to Queen’s Club, takeaway is probably your friend. Most people go for:
- flat whites, lattes and long blacks
- iced coffee on warm tournament days
- fresh pastries in the morning
- our homemade cookies for the walk
- toasties if you need something more filling before the matches
The cookies are baked in-house and tend to disappear faster than we expect. The toasties are good if you want lunch without making a whole thing of it.
If you’re not in a rush, sit in for a bit. The shop is small, friendly, and a good place to reset before heading into the crowds.
For Queen’s Club staff, contractors and event teams
This is the bit people forget about. The tennis is not just match days. There are setup days, qualifying, two tournament weeks, pack-down, deliveries, security shifts and early starts.
If you’re working around Queen’s Club in June, we’re close enough for morning coffee, quick lunches and takeaway drinks for the team. We’re open from 7:30am every day, and we can usually help with a sensible-sized coffee run if you give us a few minutes.

Queen’s Club tennis dates in 2026
The 2026 HSBC Championships at Queen’s Club run across two weeks in June, with the women’s event followed by the men’s event. Qualifying starts the weekend before each main draw, so the area is busier for longer than people expect.
